Podiatry FAQ
Podiatrists typically use manual techniques to work on people’s soft tissue, skin and muscles of the foot. Services such as nail cutting, ingrown toenails, fungal infections and wound care are exclusively performed by our Podiatrists. Our Podiatrists typically are not addressing biomechanics or deformities.
Orthotists typically focus on biomechanical interventions. Services such as foot orthotics, pain management, deformities, acute injury management and treating chronic conditions are suitable for an Orthotist. Please view the conditions we support here.
There is some overlap between the two professions, please contact our office to see whether you should book in with our Orthotists or Podiatrists.
Unfortunately, no. We accept private paying + medicare only for podiatry services.
Our Podiatry arm of the business is not NDIS registered. Please note, our Orthotic arm of the business is NDIS registered.
Our Podiatrists are a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and also The Australian Podiatry Association (APODA) appropriately.
