No you do not need a referral to see the Orthotist. Some private health companies require a Doctors referral to us for claiming purposes.
Yes we can do waterproof casts. These are an extra cost but can be arranged for you. These can be for both upper and lower limb casts.
Yes we do many footwear modifications. This includes heel and sole raises, re-soling, carbon fiber stiffeners and much more. All of these options can be discussed at an initial consultation.
We stock a small range of shoes. If requested, we can order specific styles in. We are also aligned with specialty shoe stores located close by. Please discuss with us if the shoes available on site do not suit your needs and we can refer you to a local shoe store with a recommendation.
We do stock the ASO brace (Ankle stabilising orthosis) which is used for ankle stability during sport and post operative ligament repairs.
Yes we do but given the large variety available, but we only stock below knee compression stockings. All other stockings can be ordered and take approximately 1-2 working days to arrive. These can be sent directly to you. You will need to book a 15 minute appointment to be measured up correctly. There is no cost for this.

Standard CAM walkers are $250.00 more complex designs can vary in cost including a consultation. This consult is important so our Orthotist can show you how to take on, take off and care for your moonboot. The consultation is to ensure that you are educated about the function and fitting of the item, your treatment plan and how to manage care and hygiene in your boot
You will also need a wearing regime so you know when to wear it and if you are able to weight bear.
No, the only rebate available would be through your Extras under your Private Health Insurance.
We are not supported by HICAPS and so all private health rebate inquiries will need to be done directly through your particular private health company. The item number for custom-made orthotics is F221. If you require any other item numbers please contact us.
We have pre fabricated pediatric orthotics available. These are $150.00 plus $70.00 initial consult. We can also make custom foot orthotics for children.
Custom devices such as Foot Orthotics take approximately 1 week to fabricate. More complex orthoses make take a little bit longer, but we will keep you informed. Pre-fab Orthotics can usually be fitted at the time of consult.
Yes these are available for $150.00 plus $70.00 for the initial consultation. These are suitable for kids with growing feet and some adults who have a standard foot, which requires simple arch support.
We only make soft custom made foot orthotics. This is because they are more comfortable to wear. The foot is a mobile structure with multiple joints and is designed for shock absorption. A rigid device does not allow this.
We use dense foam rather than a hard plastic. The foam comes in different densities so they can be slightly softer or harder depending on the patient and their requirements. We never use a hard plastic.
A pair of custom-made orthotics are $590.00. This is inclusive of reviews and adjustments for up-to 3 months after the fitting date. There is also an initial consult fee of $70.00 where scans will be taken for fabricating.
Please book in for an initial consultation with one of our Orthotists. This is $70.00 and at this appointment we can diagnose your condition and discuss whether orthotics are appropriate. We would also take a scan of your foot at this stage.
A consultation is $70.00. A shorter review consultation is $55.00. Both of these are payable on the day.
